Earth Hour! :)

My family and I celebrated Earth Hour last year and thought it was an awesome idea and had fun doing it, so this year we were all for doing it again. We started off the evening by watching Planet Earth DVDs which if you haven't seen I recommend you go out and rent right away, I was skeptical at first as well, then, this evening, my sister forced me to watch them, and they were completely beautiful and awesome! When 8:30 arrived we shut off all the lights, having already lighten candles around the house in the most used rooms, then we got out a game of Bookopoly, which is just monopoly, but with books and played that for an hour. So I would say that Earth Hour was a great success in our house and we will most definitely be doing it again. Also I found the Planet Earth DVD very inspirational and I plan on trying to be better about leaving lights on and recycling, that is my goal for this year, and forever really because you can never do enough!

1000 words...NOT

I wondering what three hundred and twenty five words looks like? Can anyone tell me, please? I really need to know and I’m lazy and not writing them all down my self! Its for this HUGE sociology essay I’m writing. In fact I am writing this right now the the essay in order to see how much more I need to beef this thing up! So far I am only at about seven hundred and fifty two! Oh dear, my foot just fell asleep, I hate that feeling so much! Ouch! Seven hundred and seventy one. Darn!!! I still need two hundred and twently eight. Uuuuuugh!!!! This is not cool!!! OMG I just realized something! Holy crapperz! Once I finish doing all the citing and write the conclusion I should be pretty damn close to this! I may need to just beef it up a little bit in some parts and what not, but other than that I am almost there XD yay!!! Okay well maybe I should actually go back to writing the essay and not this, because this is uber silly and and SUCH waste of time! Wow fuck, I totally need to have at least another page here, this is not cool, I dunno how I can beef this goddamn essay up any more! Haha I might just be an uber loser and post this in my blog, at least it wont be a complete waste then :P. Only partly a waste...Ha who am I kidding this is a complete waste of time! I could probably got almost this much written in the essay by now! Holy crapperz I am at nine hundred and fifty five words! Yay! This is awesome I am also there, with my completely pointless “blog” entry, which wont even make any sense to anyone but me cause I am JUST soooo cool that way! Yeah, baby :P. Okay so I need like a fucking page more!

Post Final Projects Night

Okay so I just got home from final projects night and it was pretty fun...It wasn't as good as some years, I wasn't as excited and I defiantly wasn't feeling the same energy I've felt in the past. Maybe that's just from experience or knowing what is going to happen. I wish I had more scenes and it had been more interesting. Nothing to unexpected happened. Which is good, but it does make the show more interesting. I think there were some really good scenes in it and actors. I wish we could do it over again. But maybe that's just me, maybe know one else feels this way about the show. It could because I expect more from myself or maybe we weren't as good as other years. I don't really know right now cause I'm tired I've got a head ache and I need some sleep. Peace out ya'll. You cold, me hawt!

Final Projects Night

OMG Final Projects Night is tonigh! I'm so excited! And nervous...I'm afraid I won't be able to do good enough. I'm afraid no one will laugh. I'm afriad all make a mistake. That will not stop me I'm going to go out there and be great! So I've got to go be GREAT now!!! Byez peace loadsaluv!

An Inconvenient Truth, Global Warming and the Kyoto Protocol

Tonight I watched "An Inconvenient Truth", a documentary about global warming with ex politician Al Gore. He talked about all the effects of global warming, on people, the environment, politics, economy. He tried to cover it all and I have to say he did a pretty good job of it. Now lots of the stuff I had heard before, about glaciers melting, and the poles breaking away. But there was some new stuff in there as well, like the fact that this isn't an age old trend, but something new that we are doing to the planet ourselves. This made me think of the Kyoto Protocol, some of my teachers had briefly mentioned it when talking to the class, but nothing in depth and it was mentioned in the film, but I really knew nothing about it so I decided to find out more. It is an agreement between about 189 nations to reduce the green house gas admissions, 5.2% or more depending, compared to 1990, in the 2008-2012 period. There is a lot more to it than that but it is rather complicated and to be honest I didn't really understand it that well. I think I now have a more educated outlook on global warming and I am going to try to do what I can to help, part of that is by writing this. So please go see "An Inconvenient Truth" its a very interesting and educational movie, and please try to do what you can about global warming. Speak out and take action.

Writers Block

Ugh for some reason I can't seem to think of any thing good to write about...or just writing in general...I would like to write more fiction stuff but I'm not sure were to start. Its hard creating interesting, likable and deep, complex characters when you have as little experience as me. I know i shouldn't shoot for the moon when I'm starting out but i can't help it at times. It sad cause when i was younger i could write more freely, but with less structure and now all i think about it the structure and trying to make the story work in it...maybe i should be trying for the other way around...?
